Join Talkthewalks for an 8-mile circular through the peaceful countryside around Winterborne Clenston, starting from the lovely little St Nicholas Church.
This is a beautiful rural walk through a mixture of fields, woodland, tracks and quiet lanes, with no huge hills and a generally steady, sociable pace.
Along the way we’ll pass through some wonderfully tucked-away Dorset countryside, including old tracks around Whatcombe and Milton Woods, before returning to Winterborne Clenston.
One of the highlights is the fabulous old barn close to St Nicholas Church — weathered, slightly crumbling and incredibly photogenic. Together with the little church and surrounding countryside, it gives this walk a real sense of hidden Dorset.
