About the event
Badbury Rings Circular – Quiet Paths & Ancient History 🥾
Approx. 5.5 miles | Grade 1–2 – Easy | £3
This is one of those lovely, easy-going routes that gives you a real mix of countryside without any big hills.
We’ll follow quieter paths and tracks around the Kingston Lacy estate before heading towards Badbury Rings, one of Dorset’s best-known Iron Age hillforts. The route is mostly flat, with open countryside, woodland edges and peaceful stretches away from the busier parts of Kingston Lacy.
There are two crossings of the main road during the walk. It can be busy, so we’ll regroup and cross together when there is a clear view both ways.
Distance: approx. 5.5 miles
